Craig Foster, CEO of ONDO, shared the results of the Portsmouth water LeakBot pilot which showed a significant 60% reduction in water leaks in a six-month period. There is a regulatory push to reduce household water demand by 36 liters per day. The LeakBot could be instrumental in achieving this target as the regulator has created a £100 million Innovation fund to support green technologies. It's estimated that the technology could potentially save enough water to fill 38 Olympic-sized swimming pools every day if deployed on a larger scale. By Mark Fairbairn
