Nordic Resources Reports up to 90% Gold and 91% Copper Recoveries at Finland’s Kopsa Project StockBox caught up with Nordic Resources Limited (ASX: NNL) Managing Director Robert Wrixon following strong metallurgical test results from the company’s flagship Kopsa Gold-Copper Project in Finland. Testing returned gold recoveries of up to 90% and copper recoveries of up to 91%, while also demonstrating recoverable silver. Importantly, the results were achieved using a conventional flotation-and-leach flowsheet across both the higher-grade stockwork and more prevalent tonalite mineralisation styles. Robert discusses what the metallurgical results mean for Kopsa, the consistency of gold recovery across different head grades and why using a single conventional flowsheet could be important as Nordic advances the project. The results will also feed into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate incorporating 9,631m of new drilling. Kopsa currently hosts a JORC (2012) Mineral Resource of 23.2Mt @ 1.09g/t AuEq for 814,800oz AuEq, with Nordic continuing its growth strategy through a new 12,000m drilling programme. Key topics discussed: • Gold recoveries of up to 90% and copper recoveries of up to 91% • Consistent recovery across stockwork and tonalite mineralisation • Conventional flotation-and-leach processing flowsheet • Silver recovery and potential by-product contribution • Upcoming Kopsa Mineral Resource Estimate update • 9,631m of drilling being incorporated into the new resource • New 12,000m Kopsa drilling programme and further growth potential
