First Development Resources - Priority Soil Sampling Underway at Lander West StockBoxMedia speaks with Tristan Pottas, CEO of First Development Resources plc (AIM: FDR), following the commencement of a new soil-sampling programme at the Lander West gold target within the company’s Selta Project in Australia’s Northern Territory. The programme follows FDR’s maiden reverse circulation drilling campaign, where eight holes totalling 1,593 metres confirmed primary gold mineralisation in bedrock. Hole 26LWR08 returned 7m @ 0.40 g/t Au from 50m downhole, including 2m @ 0.98 g/t Au, while gold anomalism was encountered in six of the eight holes. Tristan explains how approximately 620 Priority 1 soil-sampling stations across Red Handed, Red Hackle and part of Giles will help expand FDR’s understanding of the wider target area. He also discusses preparations for Phase I Stage II RC drilling at Red Handed, where the company will seek improved grade, mineralised thickness and continuity along strike and down dip.
